Date : 4th March 2025 | 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Venue : Bolton Village Hall Alnwick NE66 2EE

Join Soil Association Agroecology at Scale and AHDB Monitor Farm Meeting at Bolton Village Hall.

Join us at Bolton Village Hall for an exciting workshop, hosted by AHDB’s Monitor Farm programme, and the Soil Association’s Agroecology at Scale Programme.

This is an afternoon workshop for Beef and Suckler farmers, where we will host a discussion around the practicalities and economics of winter feeding. We will be joined by Emily Grant from Forrit Consultancy, who will provide a breakdown of:

  • Analysing your business,
  • Understanding fixed and variable costs,
  • Identifying key KPI metrics,
  • Highlighting how key resources are being utilised.

We will hear from practical experiences at Broome Park Farms (an Agroecology at Scale Demonstration Farm); AHDB’s Monitor Farm and others. You will also get the opportunity to discuss with others how your farm could utilise these feeding systems, how this information could guide change, and how profitability and efficiency can be improved.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the financials and network with local farmers. You can register for a free ticket through this Eventbrite page.
