Subsidised Places Available for Rural Facilitator Training with Ruralink
12 low-cost places are available on an upcoming Ruralink training programme. These places are reserved for land managers, advisers or facilitators who works or has impact, in or adjacent to, the Cotswolds National Landscape. The course cost of £250 (usually £625) is heavily subsidised by UK Government’s Farming in Protected Landscapes scheme.
This unique 5-day course at offers essential and practical training for professional and volunteer facilitators working in a rural environment. It is suited to those at the start of an advisory or facilitation career and those with more experience. Delivered over three incremental modules, this course develops delegates’ Individual, Team and Project-level inter-personal skills to enhance your effectiveness as a facilitator of landscape and rural community projects.
Whether you are working on a large-scale landscape level project or volunteering in a local community scheme, this course will show you how to get the best from yourself, the team and the project community.
The course will be delivered in-person at RAU Cirencester, with Module A being taught on October 8th and 9th followed by Modules B & C on November 5th and 7th.
