About the speakers:

James Loder-Symonds co-owns and directs LEAF demonstration farm Nonington Farms with his wife, Emma. As well as being a FACTS and BASIS trained agronomist, he created and ran a contract farming business, converting 4000 acres of arable land to regenerative agricultural systems.

James’ experience includes integrating livestock into our arable system, and effectively reducing artificial N and sprays, growing cover crops, and creating carbon-neutral/negative farming systems as a result.

James was also awarded Farmers Weekly 2023 Environmental Champion of the Year and won bronze in the Yield Enhancement Network Awards for his high wheat yield in 2022.

Megan Harmon is an Agricultural Consultant at ADAS in the South of England. She is contributing to the Climate Farm Demo Project by collecting carbon footprint data and supporting the development of adaptation and mitigation plans for participating farms.
