ADAS webinar: IPMnet Briefing
IPMnet is an open, farmer focused knowledge exchange network dedicated to improving the practical adoption of holistic Integrated Pest Management across UK arable and horticultural systems. The network supports growers and their advisors by benchmarking IPM performance, sharing real‑world farm experience, and providing access to a wide suite of decision‑support resources and training materials, helping users respond to evolving pest, weed and disease pressures more effectively. As an initiative designed to bring together practical experience, research insights and policy developments, IPMnet also connects members with complementary platforms such as IPM Decisions and the IPMWORKS Toolbox, promoting open access to tools and evidence that underpin sustainable crop protection strategies.
This IPMnet Briefing, featuring “Crop Action Live” draws on experiences and observations from this season, a period marked by warm and wet conditions. The webinar will highlight the key pest challenges encountered so far, explore how recent weather patterns may shape spring and summer risks, and showcase the tools available to support more timely monitoring and decision‑making.
The webinar is open to anyone interested in current challenges in practical pest management in UK agriculture, and especially relevant to farmers and agronomists.
