Biodynamic on farm day – Hungary Lane Farm
Farmer: Jo Bradley For more about Hungary lane Farm click here
This farm day organised by the Biodynamic Association and hosted by Jo Bradley at Hungary Lane Farm is particularly suitable for new entrant farmers, and anyone with an interest in producing quality grains for milling and people working in local food supply chains seeking quality produce.
This 200-acre mixed farm supplies organic and biodynamic flour mills and bakeries and sells its meat, poultry, eggs and vegetables via the farm shop at Hungary Lane
Learn from over 30 years of biodynamic practise at Hungary Lane; Jo will offer his reflections and insights on caring for the farm over the decades. He will tell his story as a farmer and working with biodynamics, from the very beginning to the present day; developing a farm and meeting the community’s needs for food and what the future holds for himself and his farm going forward.
The people, the land, the animals and the community that the farm provides for, are all characters in this story. A story that will continue with the succession of the in-coming tenant in the autumn.
If you are at the start of your farming journey, in the middle or coming to the end of it like Jo is, come and be inspired.
Participants will benefit from his many years of farming experience and get to see Hungary Lane Farm during the farm walk part of the day. There will be plenty of time for questions too.
