Propagation & weed management in the polytunnels at Daylesford

In these short video clips, Jez Taylor, head of the Market Garden at Daylesford Organic Farm, talks to us from inside the polytunnels about propagating tomatoes, peppers, chillies, mixed leaf salads, carrots, radishes and climbing beans as they ramp up their efforts to provide fresh vegetables and salad to as many people as possible in the pandemic crisis…

Part 3 – Jez takes a look at how successful the drilling and germination has been in one of the propagation tunnels where he’s growing beetroot, radish, coriander and climbing beans. The larger the seed the faster the germination! Combining radish and climbing beans makes good use of space…
