Exploring the Value of the Farm Treescape through Whole Farm Tree Planning
Join the Soil Association for this webinar on Farm Treescapes, exploring the key findings from the Whole Farm Tree Project.
Based on an innovative project to develop and pilot the concept of whole farm tree planning, including a farm treescape functional assessment, Soil Association is keen to disseminate the learning from the project to a range of practitioners including farmers, foresters, advisors and the wider environmental sector.
We will be hearing from Anna Biesty, farmer at Deepdale Farm in North Norfolk, about her experience as a pilot project farmer on the Whole Farm Treescape project.
The project was funded by the Forestry Commission through Woods into Management Forestry Innovation Fund (WIMFIF).
What to expect from this event:
Expert guidance on the benefits of trees on farms and pathways to improving treescape management.
A firsthand perspective from Anna Biesty, pilot project farmer – hear her experience with the treescape assessment process and how it has shaped Deepdale’s future plans.
Insights from the Whole Farm Tree Plan project – both at an individual farm level and across the project group.
