Event
FLAME Northern Regional Gathering

About the event
This will be an informal day to meet up with other young people interested in food, farming and land justice from across the north. You do not need to be a member to come along, if you’re just curious about what FLAME does please say hello!
The final agenda is almost confirmed and will be shared closer to the time, but the day will include some workshops on what things you would like to see from FLAME, a communal lunch, and a screening of the film ‘Leaving it Better’ made by Northern LWA member Rakesh. It will mostly just be a space for the day where you can connect with others in the region. If a group want to, we might head to a pub in Leeds afterwards.
The event will take place at Kirkstall Valley Farm – Community run farm sharing vegetables with local residents and shops. The event will be in a covered area, but there won’t be any heating so please dress warm and bring any layers/hats/blankets/extra socks you might want.
If you would like to learn more about FLAME to see if this event is right for you just follow this link (Flame – Landworkers Alliance) or if you have any questions about the day please reach out to Megan – a FLAME member organiser – using mdunn113@gmail.com
