Sheffield Organic Growers Farm Tours: Growing Together
Sheffield Organic Growers is a cluster of independent growers on the outskirts of Sheffield, nestled in the beautiful Moss Valley. The individual projects share the land and equipment but make their own business decisions. We will hear from growers on site about the opportunities and challenges faced through this model.
The tours will incorporate a variety of topics including:
- Growing Together: Opportunities and Challenges
- Organic Flower Growing
- Organic Top Fruit Growing
- Organic Veg & Salad (including biodynamic)
- Breaking New Ground (8 acres recently purchased, in organic conversion. Integrating new trees into productive horticulture)
