Tom Fairfax is a regenerative farmer at Mindrum, a certified organic mixed farm in Northumberland, where he works towards producing healthy food from healthy ground. Five-plus years into the regenerative transition, Tom’s focus is on rebuilding the farm’s productive infrastructure by closely observing soil, plants, livestock behaviour, and the subtle field-level signals that often precede bigger change. He uses data to tracks these observations, which then shape decisions, trials, and outcomes across the whole farm system.
