Visit to Dol y Llys farm with the Ancient Tree Forum
The ATF Wales | FCH Cymru local group would like to welcome you to explore the wonderful ancient trees of Dol y Llys working farm, Llanidloes.
You will visit some of the ancient and veteran trees on this farm and learn about the ways that the ATF are engaging with the farmer and the public to show their importance, protect them, and to ensure a new generation of trees can flourish to old age within the landscape.
The guided walk will be over uneven terrain, with some gates. The group will walk at a slow pace and stop as needed. Livestock will be present in the fields.
Dogs are welcome if on leads – please clean up after your dog and bring sufficient water and food. There may be an area with pigs where dogs should not to enter.
Biosecurity is important – please arrive and leave with clean footwear – disinfectant and boot washing will be available.
