Farm Fund 2026 Opens for Applications to Support the Next Generation of Agroecological Growers
Natoora‘s Farm Fund has opened the application process for it’s fifth season of grant funding – with up to $30,000 of financial support available for farmers aged 35 and under in Australia, Europe, the USA and the UK who are committed to agroecological cultivation methods.
Who/ what does this funding support?
Farm Fund offers one-off financial grants to enable young growers to take action that strengthens a resilient, productive, and nutritious food system. Farm Fund are seeking to fund projects and developments on farms that:
- Can act as case studies to pave the way for a better future of farming
- Stand to gain the most from the support
- Demonstrate a measurable impact and resilience that sustains itself over time
A third of each year’s fund is available exclusively to underrepresented, BIPOC individuals and farming projects, creating access for growers previously held back by social or economic barriers and therefore building a more inclusive farming community.
Areas of farming focus
Grants are available to farms and growing projects that contribute to at least one of the following key areas of focus, with a clear target in mind:
- Soil health
- Culture and identity
- Biodiversity
- Innovation
- Accessible scale
- Education
Grants
With a $150,000 fundraising target, Farm Fund aims to offer three brackets of grants in the 2025–2026 season:
- One $30,000 Transformation Grant
- Four $15,000 Grants
- Seven $8,000 Grants
