Get Paid to Mentor the Next Generation of Farmers!
The Biodynamic Association (BDA) is launching its new Mentor Scheme, and are looking for experienced voices from across agroecology to step up and support the next wave of biodynamic practitioners.
You don’t need to be a biodynamic expert – just someone working in regenerative agriculture who’s willing to share your skills and experience to help new and transitioning farmers grow.
What’s involved?
- You’ll be paired with a mentee working on a biodynamic project or transition
- Provide 8 hours of support per mentee
- Support can be in-person (preferred), phone, email or video
- You choose when and whom to support
- You’re free to decline any mentoring request
What you’ll receive
Each 8-hour mentoring package includes:
- £200 honorarium (a thank-you payment)
- £50 travel allowance
Who can apply?
The BDA welcome mentors from across the agroecology field, including (but not limited to):
- Marketing
- Business planning
- Grass-fed practices
- Propagation
- Protected cropping
- On-farm processing

The mentor programme runs from September 2025 to August 2028, with flexible scheduling.
