Impact of hedge and tree coverage on pastures on summer mastitis incidence in dairy cattle

The Veterinary Parasitology Research Group of Liverpool University are requesting participation in  an online survey on summer mastitis in dairy cattle

The study is investigating the impact of hedges and trees around pasture on the risk of summer mastitis in dairy cattle. It is part of the Resilient Dairy Landscapes project, funded by the Global Food Security Programme.

They are asking for dairy farmers with heifers or dry cows (whether or not you have had cases of summer mastitis) to complete the survey. The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete and respondents will be entered into a prize draw (5x £50 Amazon Vouchers).

The survey will close on the 19th of September 2022
