River from Pemboa Flower Farm

River

Head Grower

After growing up in rural France then studying and working in the Arts in England, I returned to the South of France to learn more about farming and ‘peasant agriculture’. Me and my partner Esme worked on permaculture and goat farms before coming back to the UK to begin our own growing project in 2021, specialising in cut flowers. We were lucky enough to find a small affordable piece of land in Cornwall, deemed too wet for conventional agriculture. With careful agroecological practices we have created a productive and balanced site, selling cut flowers to the local community and florists.

Alongside being the head grower at Pemboa Flower Farm, I have spent the last 4 years researching and building sustainable systems for off-grid housing and farming. I live on the farm with my young  family in our self built home, stewarding the land and using this as a tool for local housing and environmental change.
