I am Strategic Lead on Agriculture for The Wildlife Trusts UK, and was Head of the Sustainable Farming Campaign for Sustain Alliance, running many campaigns on farming, food and supply chains. I am a published author and I also run an independent consultancy.

I am an experienced and award-winning environmental campaigner, researcher, writer, blogger for 35 years mainly on food, farming and environmental issues & solutions at UK, EU and international level. I have founded many organisations including Sustain and Eating Better.

I am very keen on invertebrates, have a Masters in Pest Management, am a Fellow of the Royal Entomological Society (FRES) & my second book ‘Rebugging the Planet’ was Published in 2021. A new book on bugs is on its way.
