Agricology seeking Project Manager!

The Organic Research Centre is looking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee management of Agricology, a web-based platform supporting farmers and growers in learning about practical sustainable farming regardless of labels. The job holder will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the project.

You will be responsible for the management of the project including financial planning and reporting, website management and development, fundraising, project monitoring and reporting, together with line management of relevant staff. You will report to the Senior Programmes Manager at ORC and the Executive Board.

The candidate will possess a BSc (2:1 or higher) and at least 3 years’ experience of project or financial management are essential as is experience with website development and management, team working, a good understanding of GDPR; a keen interest in sustainable agriculture would be advantageous. The candidate should have an independent, proactive and positive approach and a willingness to travel in in the UK and to take on additional duties as required.

The successful candidate will be based at Daylesford, Kingham, with regular work at the Organic Research Centre, near Newbury. The Position is limited to 2 years with a possibility of extension.
