Climate Farm Demo webinar
Half of the carbon footprint of most arable crops is associated with nitrogen fertiliser. Join this Climate Farm Demo webinar to hear ADAS crop physiologists Dr Pete Berry, Ben Hague, and Dr Christina Baxter discuss the agronomic and greenhouse gas (GHG) benefits of using nitrification and urease inhibitors in arable crop production. The session will also cover ways farmers can improve nitrogen use efficiency on their farm.
Agenda
- Welcome and aim of the webinar
- Introduction to GHG emissions associated with crop production
- Nitrous oxide and ammonia emissions associated with nitrogen fertiliser use
- GHG emissions reduction and agronomic benefits of nitrification and urease inhibitors
The webinar is open to all and will last one hour.
