Growing Well Farm Tour
Growing Well’s growers will share learnings from nearly 20 years of organic certification and provide ‘how-tos’ including crop planning, rotations, derogations, inspections and more. With certification in mind, we’ll also discuss systems used to both: (a) produce 100 veg boxes per week and seasonal wholesale and (b) integrate support of 50+ mental health beneficiaries (volunteers) per week into the growing enterprise.

Growing Well is a Cumbrian based charity providing support to adults experiencing a moderate to severe level of mental ill health. The Kendal site is a six-acre certified organic fruit and vegetable farm at Low Sizergh Farm, producing over 250 varieties of fruit and vegetables.
