Yorkshire farm study tour
A Farm of the Future two-day opportunity to hear from leading farm businesses, including about regen farming strategy, increasing diversity and reduced inputs; nature enhancement in mixed farming system. Part of Countryside COP, bringing together the rural community and businesses to showcase and inspire activity ahead of COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 11 – 22 November 2024.
This Yorkshire study tour will provide ideas and inspiration to help your journey to net zero. The tour will include visits to farms demonstrating innovative regenerative farming including:
- Approach Farm, Angus Gowthorpe – focusing on soil health, increasing diversity and reduced inputs
- Fraser Farms – system to support and enhance nature. Incorporates sheep, clover leys and wildflower strips into cereal production.
This is a great opportunity to hear from leading farmers as they share their journey to low carbon farming and from the experts and researchers on the solutions which will help us achieve our goals.
Funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. This event is free for farmers to attend, but registration is essential as places are strictly limited to 25 attendees.

Now in its fourth year, Countryside COP provides a platform for anyone interested in the countryside to hear how the UK’s rural economy and agriculture can help tackle climate change and improve sustainability.
The Countryside COP allows the rural community and UK agriculture to set the agenda and will serve to amplify policy asks and other messaging through many voices.
