Call for farmer participation in intercropping trials

As part of the European project LEGUMINOSE, Innovative Farmers are calling for farmers to join their intercropping trials.

A recent field walk and workshop saw farmers come together to discuss their experiences related to intercropping and tour the fields of Lower Farm in Oxfordshire where Ben Adams is running his own intercropping trials. You can read more about the results of this day in this article by Laura Gude from Innovative Farmers

If you’re interested to take part in the intercropping trials or would like to learn more about what’s involved contact Jerry Alford for more information jalford@soilassociation.org

Reading University who are part of the project are hosting a questionnaire for farmers who are already using, or interested in experimenting with intercropping.

There will be another event linked to the LEGUMINOSE project coming up in the autumn so keep an eye out on our events page for more info on this.
