With an abiding theme of positive interaction between people, land and nature, I’ve had the good fortune of a broad career in UK food and farming. Working across organic veg production and conventional cereals agronomy, I have been involved in cropping and marketing of produce from salad to thatching straw, nurturing diversity both in and out of the field in my home county of Wiltshire. Since taking up less physical work in 2019, I have loved learning about the many solutions that make up UK ag- in particular where common ground can be found between seemingly disparate sectors and systems.
