Forage for sheep

In January’s Agricology vlog, Richard Smith of Daylesford Farm discusses the forage he uses to feed his flock of commercial Lleyn Sheep. In the video he covers the following:

  • The benefits of growing and feeding fertility-building leguminous crops such as sainfoin and red clover

  • How many kilograms of feed you should be giving your sheep
  • Hazards of not feeding enough in the lead up to lambing
